Hi there! I am a third-year Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo. I am enthusiastic about programming, mathematics, foreign languages, table tennis and travelling.

I try to make the best out of my university experience by competing in programming/mathematics contests and engaging in side projects with other talented students.

 Some recognition that I received include:

-I placed first in Canada in two physics competitions (AAPT Physics Bowl (year 2015) and McMaster physics contest (year 2015))

-I founded the chemistry club (brought two members to national level), gomoku club  and was leader of math club, physics club (brought our team to the international stage) and table tennis club during high school.

-I was an Ontario Chemistry Olympiad finalist (year 2016)

-I  was a Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge finalist (year 2016)

UWSurvival

This is a shooting game I made where the player is an University of Waterloo student and he is struggling to get through his first year math courses. Please see more info by clicking on the image below.

Watan

This is the University of Waterloo themed multiplayer Catan game I created along with two other group members for the culminating project in CS246(Object Oriented Programming), using C++. Please see more info by clicking on the image below.

Gomoku

Gomoku is my favourite old-school board game and it is the very first board game that I played. This is my personalized implementation of gomoku using Java. Please see more info by clicking on the image below.

Snake

This is the classic snake game from the childhood. I am glad to implement my own version of snake using Java. Please see more info by clicking on the image below.

Reversi

This is the multiplayer reversi game I created, using C++ and XWindow(for graphic display) for an assignment at school. The rules of the game are implemented using observer software design pattern. Please see more info by clicking on the image below.

Chinese Chess

In this project, I tried to implement the classic game of Chinese Chess using java. I've used sockets to establish the server and the clients.  Please see more info by clicking on the image below.
